This is the biggest and most wide ranging expansion yet and players will be foolish to enter this new world without help…

Here is a sneak preview of the very first quests you will face should you choose to roll a WoW Goblin in the World of Warcraft Cataclysm expansion:

Goblins start in a tropical zone on a raft — your player character seems to be passed out… or dead.

Doc Zapnozzle says: Fajardo, what are you doing just sitting there? Don’t you recognize who that is laying next to you?!
Doc Zapnozzle says: That’s <player>! He’s the whole reason we’re sill breathing and not crispy fried critters back on Kezan.
Geargrinder Fajardo says: That’s <player>?! Sorry, Doc, I thought he was dead!
Doc Zapnozzle says: Stay back, I’m going to resucitate him! I hope these wet jumper cables don’t kill us all!
Doc Zapnozzle says: That’s all I’ve got. It’s up to him now. You hear me <player>? Come on, snap out of it! Don’t go into the light!

Quest: Don’t Go Into the Light!
It’s up to you now. Are you going to come back to life and be the hero that your fellow survivors need you to be, or are you going to rest for eternity here?

<player>, I’m sorry, I thought you were dead!

This is just crazy. We sailed into a fight between the Alliance and Horde!

You know, our brothers and sisters still need to be rescued.

<He points out all of the escape pods in the water around you.>

I think I’m going to sit here a while longer and catch my breath. Can you swim around and let them out? Take my pair of thermohydratic flippers so you can get around faster.

You swim through the water — quite quickly — rescuing your fellow Goblins and dodging the occasional shark.

Personally, I can’t wait to roll my Goblin – I’m an ‘”altoholic” and all I need to do now is decide which class to play. And wait for the WoW Cataclysm expansion /sigh. Starting Area:

The Lost Isles, a new zone featured in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. The chain of islands is located south of Azshara and north of Durotar. The goblins of the Bilgewater Cartel have shipwrecked on the Lost Isles after fleeing the devastation of Kezan, the tropical island homeland of the goblins.
